Your friend Gasshan likes this band, as does Saki of Nemophila. It's been a very influential band. They call their concerts Black Masses. Saki has recently been to see them at an outdoor festival and at one of their tour stops.
Thank you, yes I do know that Gasshan, like them I have been meaning to react to them for a long time and I see that GG, have taken down the interview with Nemophila. and I will be reacting more to Seikima II.
@@OldMrB I don't watch the GGs channel. Did they explain why they took it down? I reckon he regretted it when he asked Mayu if she had a favorite reacter on Y T, and hearing her say your name. The GGs are bombastic self-promoters who carry on like they own Japanese music reactions, and I'm glad Mayu kicked them in the teeth.

( and pigs can fly)lol!!! well I will not be reacting to anymore of their covers I say their but it is one person.that has done it and I know who. so much for it being a community and in one of my up and coming reaction I do have a little dig at them. lol!!!
Whenever Saki is shown performing in her room there is a poster of The Demon Kogure on her wall. She also told Herman Li that Fire After Fire was the first thing she learned on guitar.

I just checked and you have done Damien Harmada’s Creatures. Damien is a founding member of Seikima II not appearing in this video.
There are some videos from a reunion show where basically all the surviving former members get together. 4 guitarists, 2 bassists, 2 drummers, keyboard player and vocalist.
Demon Kogure/kaka is also a radio personality in Japan, Sumo commentator, actor and voice actor.

When I used to watch Japanese TV around 15 years ago, Demon (Kogure) Kakka often appeared on TV talk shows, always in full makeup. He's a very interesting guy, lived in New York for a couple of years when he was around 6 and speaks English fairly well. I've always liked him.

@@OldMrB Yeah, in the middle of the below, Kogure is singing with handstand (from 6:38), but according to them, this is not so, but rather he is supporting the earth with his head and arms. lol

Saki has often stated that she started playing the electric guitar because she admired Seikima-II. She wrote long articles about the band on the website of a major Japanese CD store in 2013, (titled "悪魔と私のエトセトラ" literally "Et Cetera on the Demon and Me" and is still available on).

They formed in December 1982; held first Black Mass (first concert) on March 23, 1983.
In 1985, they made their major debut in Japan from CBS Sony
with their first Major Teachings (album), "Sei-KiMa II: (Demons Come and Play Heavy Metal)”
The following year, 1986, they became famous in Japan with the big hit single
"Wax Doll Museum".

“SEI-KI･MA II” means a term coined by applying the same-sounding Kanji
to the Japanese “End-of-Century” phonetic readings（Seikimatsu）.
The meanings of the kanji are, in order from left to right:
"聖:SEI" = holy, "飢:KI" = hungry, and "魔:MA" = devil.
When read as a whole, the word is a contrivance,
but it means " The Holy, Hungry Devil, Jr”.

They are a lot off the bands and artist I react to favorite as well.

Not only. Luke Takamura plays Killer. Jail O'Hashi plays the Aria Pro II (probably his signature guitar, white striped). Saki in Destrose: Skykiller - ruclips.net/video/M2uQGcm-kJo/видео.html Isn't it the same? Before Saki started playing only on Killer, she was playing on several other brands. I wonder if Jail O'Hashi can pick her fingers as quickly as Saki :-).
@@musicaconqueror5477 same brand but not the same guitar, she has had a killer gravestone model though since before she joined Mary's Blood back in 2012.
@@musicaconqueror5477 Akira Takasaki of Loudness introduced Saki to the killer brand, I believe Killer guitars is his business. Correct me if I am wrong. I'm not big on guitars.

It's amazing how many Japanese bands do face paint. I think KISS and Kabuki really influenced them.
